Akok is Trengganu aristocrat cake with egg content and baked under amber and duku is sweet terengganu fruits.Balanced and sim[le breakfast.

Garden Bench Made From Cut down Tree

Image
My neighbor cut a big jack fruit tree which had gotten old. They afraid that the tree might tumble down on children .I said to just don't burn the cut down tree, give it to me for my creative project. So this is the picture of my weekend project, garden set for me to sit in the morning and accessing internet with a cup of coffee. I think I need grass planted around the garden set to make it more beautiful

First Attempt Shoot and Post by Iconia Tab

Image
Having Iconia Tab is an advantage because it is handy and internet powered but actually using all its features is another thing. This is my first attempt of shooting a family of duck [ taking picture i mean] and post it up to blog within minutes. Typing on tab is painful but it is improving. It is like chicken feeding on grains.

Pasar Payang Market of Plenty

Image
Pasar Payang is a must to visit for tourist to Kuala Terengganu. You can get good textile songket, batik with exellent dye and plenty to take home for your friends and family as snacks. While waiting for someone I made a visit to Pasar Payang. Somebody asked me what is Payang. Actually Payang is a kind of boat used for fishing by fishermen in past. It is amongst the biggest fishing boat eventhough it is smaller than ocean goer Perahu besar. Anyway I got pictures of snack arranged layer and layer of them in Pasar Payang. Interesting balancing act.

A Walk In The Memory Lane

Image
I was a Terengganu town kid who used to walk for 10 miles just to stroll around the town. It was easy for me as I was a kid full of energy and curiosity. On the way home I would always buy an apple for 50 cents and ate all it even the seeds. It was day of less to spend last time. In 1970s walking from shop to another along the narrow lane was what everybody was doing to do some shopping or just to see around. Now as there is not much parking space the street has become just another short cuts to another main road. I took the memory lane yesterday just to fill my nostalgic feeling of my childhood days. Of course it is almost empty now as the town is expanding outward where the less developed last time has been developed well.
